We welcome Dr. Joel Tuite to our practice! He will be seeing patients in our Littleton and Woodsville offices. September 2003
Dr. Winnie Tseng joined the practice. (See Our Doctors for more information.) Welcome to Dr. Tseng!
In our Woodsville office, we added a patternless edger to our lab. This instrument fabricates lenses more quickly and accurately, allowing us to get your glasses to you sooner. July 2003
Our longtime employee Lori Dodge has moved to Massachusetts. She's done a great job, and we'll all miss her. Good luck in your new job! June 2003
We've added two new instruments to our Littleton office. The first is an autorefractor / keratometer / topographer. This instrument gives us measurements of your focusing ability, corneal curvature and general mapping... all in a few seconds. It will give us new and useful information to help determine your glasses and contact lens prescriptions, and it will also help in our Lasik consultations.
The second instrument is a digital fundus camera. This camera stores images of the retina and optic nerve on a computer. The software allows us to analyze and compare images in ways that would be impossible with conventional photographs. January 2003
Our state legislature recently passed a bill that allows optometrists greater scope of practice. We can now use more medications in the treatment of eye disease and soon will be able to treat glaucoma. This month, all our doctors are attending a continuing education course in Concord, NH, consisting of classroom lectures specifically dealing with treating glaucoma. We will be co-managing patients at first with ophthalmologists, but we are very excited to be able to provide this additional care for our patients.
